Well, Trent's birthday was an extra-special day---all about him! When he woke up that morning, Rachel and Bradley could NOT wait to give him their presents. It was so precious watching how excited they were to give him a present. And, he was equally excited to open them...with open mouth and squeals of joy! He had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the kids and I sang to him. (Daddy had already left for work.) After we picked up Bradley from school, we met Gege and Papa for lunch at Chick-fil-A. Then, when daddy got home from work, we gave him his presents from us and played for awhile. We ate a dinner that had a little bit of everything that Trent likes: salad with Ranch dressing, corn on the cob, chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese and a roll. (It was actually quite easy making Trent his b-day dinner, since he likes EVERYthing!) After dinner, we sang to him again, with the cupcakes the kids and I made that afternoon. He was very excited to have us sing Happy Birthday to him (each time) and he loved his cupcake! It was a special day for our special little guy! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone on Sunday!! Happy Birthday to our sweet Trenty!
