Just beautiful

We love our sweet Rachel! And she grows more and more beautiful-both inside and out- every day! She's doing so well in 1st grade...at home and at Learning Grove. She's still such a good helper to me, so kind to her brothers and so thoughtful. She is definitely independent and likes to try to make decisions on her own or try things her own way, even if she's been advised NOT to do it. She's losing teeth like crazy--her 2 front teeth are kinda odd right now--one is a baby tooth and one is a permanent! (Not very symmetrical, huh?!) She loves riding her bike...now without training wheels, still scoots around on her scooter like she's in a fierce, fast competition and just enjoys being outdoors. She started baseball this week...she's 1 of 3 girls on the team. She really liked it! Obviously, with only one practice behind us, the team has a good ways to go before they "get it" but it was pretty cute watching them practice hitting and fielding the ball.

I cannot believe that my baby girl is almost 7! Daily I'm reminded of how quickly she's growing up, how much she has to tell, how much she's absorbing and that right now, for the most part, she still enjoys listening to and heeding my advice.

I want to savor it all-I love my sweet, beautiful daughter!
