The Elf on the Shelf

We have whole-heartedly gotten into the elf on the shelf this year! We named our elf, Snazzy, and every night, he finds some place to hide around the house. Occasionally he leaves a note on the front door and the kids love looking for him. Snazzy's cute and it shouldn't be that big a deal moving him to new locations, but I find that it's about as easy to remember as the tooth fairy some nights. Our elf isn't too creative, mostly just hanging around, but the kids don't seem to mind. Snazzy will be here till Christmas Eve and then he'll return to the North Pole till next year.
