Jumping!

Juju is the first "friend" to try out the trampoline. Rach and Brad had a blast jumping with her the other day. Can't wait to see what Alex thinks of it! Trent loves it, but feels very uncomfortable and unsteady when anyone jumps near him. Obviously, his light weight makes him spring up in the air which he doesn't particularly enjoy. Rach and Brad are usually courteous about not jumping too near him, but hey, it IS a trampoline for pete's sake...and it's for jumping. So, Trent will have to adapt or get off this particular toy!

An early present from Santa

Much to the kid's delight, Santa dropped off a trampoline on Christmas Eve morning! He's so clever since it rained and snowed on Christmas day, which would have really hindered their chance to try it out. Our elf, Snazzy, had left a note explaining that Santa had to drop it off early because it was too big for his sleigh. As you can see, it was still a little frosty and Santa didn't have time to install the enclosure- so he left that for daddy to do. The kids do love the trampoline and have already learned some of our old games: "Crack the Egg" and seat bounce from your bottom to your feet. Many fun times are in the future with this cool entertainment!

Cookies for Santa

The kids made cookies for Santa as usual...apparently our kids think Santa REALLY likes sprinkles!! He was able to choke down a cookie that was left on the fireplace.

October- Halloween is so much fun!

November- We have so much to be thankful for on Thanksgiving!!

December- Merry Christmas!

We had a pretty good year for 2010,

We were so thankful to get to see our oldest and best friends during their whirlwind trip from VA to GA. They had tons of family to see and were kind enough to fit us into their schedule! We all remember the days when it was just Rachel...Jen and Ang would help me give her a bath and get her jammies on so she'd be ready for bed. Then it was just Rach and Brad and they were the only 2...now we all have babies and they all really enjoyed each other at our friend gathering this year! All the kids were extremely well-behaved and had fun playing...and the moms and dads had a GREAT time too!

Trent longs for a simpler time...his life full of juice, snacks, toys and siblings/adults at his beck and call are a bit much for him some days. He's already trying on the Amish hat to see if it suits his style. He's pretty pleased with how it fits.
